EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE

We deliver quality services and positive outcomes, taking pride in our work with diligence and commitment. We will share evidence based assessments and therapeutic support with our community to achieve valuable life outcomes.

Evidence-based practice (EBP) is the term used in healthcare to indicate that practitioners are using the best available evidence to ensure that the interventions they provide have undergone a rigorous scientific review process.

AN INDIVIDUALISED APPROACH

There is never a “one size fits all” approach to recovery, as every individual has a unique set of strengths challenges and circumstances. Through shared decision making and evidenced based practice we individualise our clients experience and journey with us.

SHARED DECISION MAKING

We adopt a collaborative approach to making health care decisions. Clinical practice guidelines advocate for clinicians to involve clients in decision-making processes and allow for client preferences (along with evidence) to guide decisions where possible.

THE TEAM

Ready OT is led by Kelsey Pringle, an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist, and a supporting team of administrative staff.

Kelsey has over 9 years’ experience in the field of Occupational Therapy working across various roles in community settings and insurance schemes, specifically with those who experience mental illness and psychosocial disability.

Kelsey has completed post graduate qualifications in psychological therapies. She has a special interest in working with clients who have experienced trauma and have diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder.
